San Francisco summers are unpredictable at best, so whenever you get a warm, clear day you make the most of it. So without any further ado, here’s Angela, Kimmy, and for my new musicians section, Canadian singer-songwriter Melanie Dekker and soprano Sarah Viola.

While San Francisco was getting drenched, I shot a few fashion shows. Springloaded, featured six designers, including Rocio. Students from the Art Institute put on a show with an animal/recycled theme; Animalia-Trash Couture. The statuesque Laquana modelled at a recent bridal fashion show. I’m hoping to do a proper shoot with her soon - stay tuned.
While it’s true I almost exclusively photograph women, I’ll make an exception once in a while. So here’s up and coming crooner, Jonathan Diina.
I did my first big digital-only (!!!) shoot last month in sunny Cabo San Lucas for Round Table Pizza. Another night I played with digital was at a local fashion show. It’s nice being to see what effects you’re getting on the spot.
Noe Venable played at the Great American Music Hall a couple of times recently. For those who haven’t heard her music, I strongly recommend her latest album and not just because I shot the cover…
Since this site keeps on growing, I’ve moved a bunch of galleries into the new “etcetera” for want of a better category.
They must put something in the water in Brazil to create the likes of Cristina. (If there’s any doubt, you may remember another Brazilian I shot, Ananda - yow.)
And then there’s Alicia, an aerialist who by rights should be hired immediately by Cirque du Soleil. What she can do dangling from a tree, lesser morals couldn’t dream of attempting on terra firma. Here’s someone you should be hearing a lot more of very soon. Noe Venable is an impossibly gifted singer songwriter whose new album “The World is Bound By Secret Knots” is released on August 14th. The CD release party will probably sell out fast, book online at her website. Oh, and this shoot is for the new album’s cover art.
