I don’t know if you’ve been following the news, but apparently gay couples have been getting married in San Francisco City Hall. Anyway, I could hardly pass up such a historic event, so I headed a few blocks down the road to capture a slice of what was going on. I wasn’t prepared for the intensity of raw emotion and love throughout the place. Couples who had been living together for years - often decades - were finally being recognised by the city (if not the state - yet).
I try to keep my model galleries down to one page of 12 images, but Astrid made editing a pain - every shot was a keeper. After much brutal editing, I managed to get it down to three pages.
Once in a while I come across a woman with such an incredible look, I have to photograph her. Perfect skin, huge eyes, charisma in spades and comfortable in her skin. And hot. That’s a conservative description of Xeres.
One glance of Alana just after the burn last year stopped me dead in my tracks. She has this simple, delicate beauty and a kind soul. I really didn’t do her justice in this shoot, but perhaps she’ll let me try again some day . . .
Yet another thing I love about San Francsico is the random political art happenings - today’s was “Clownarchy” where a bunch of clowns invaded the underground, aka BART.
I’m lucky to have two affectionate cats who rightly insist on their fare share of love and attention. So when I’m doing a studio shoot, they usually wander into my line of sight to either check out my models or silently accuse me of neglect. I suspect the latter. (Parental Guidance - contains some nudity.)
It’s been so long since I’ve updated my site and this page that here’s a gallery from Thanksgiving. It’s become a tradition for me to spend the holiday with my friend Amanda, who now lives out in the boonies with Keith and the puppies.
