Since so many people complimented me on my Burning Man hips gallery, I’ve done something similar, this time at the Folsom Street Fair. Parental warning: it also contains some nudity.
I’m showing my Burning Man images from 2001 and back at the Burning Man Decompression party from noon ’til midnight this Sunday (10/14/01) on Indiana Street, between Mariposa and 20th, outside Club Cocomo.
I’m doing two more slide shows next week in San Francsico. I’ll show hundreds of images I’ve shot over the last few years, a the new Well Hung Art Gallery at 701 Sutter Street (@ Taylor - map). They’ll run from 8pm ’til late on Thursday and Friday (10/18/01, 10/19/01). There will be a bar, with a live band on Thursday, DJs on Friday. There will be a cover and you’ll have to apply for free membership before you can come. 21+, see site for details.
I know it’s off topic, but I’ve been asked by several women to shoot portfolio pictures to submit to emodel. Unfortunately, emodel may not be quite what it appears to be. Basically, their “scouts” approach all kinds of people and invite them to an all day sales pitch and hit them up for $400 at the end of the day. It’s a low trick and preys on people’s hopes and dreams. If you want to be a model, go to an open call at a respected agency. Real agencies work on commission from the work you do for them - they don’t charge you for being on their books.
