Can’t stand the wait until Burning Man? Something to tide you over is the Flambe Lounge Foolz Ball, where I’ll do a slide show of my Burning Man pictures. It’s at Club Cocomo in San Francsico on April 1st. (This Sunday.)

One of my favorite shoots of the last couple of years was with the astonishingly gifted singer/songwriter, Noe Venable. She received a well-deserved nomination for a California Music Award (formerly known as a Bammie) for outstanding female vocalist, alongside the likes of Gwen Stefani, Tracey Chapman and Aimee Mann. You can (and should) vote for her here. You can hear a sample song and visit her website, but you’re unlikely to hear her live until she finishes recording her third album.

I’ve got several pieces in a group show right now. It’s called “People - Picturing the Human Spirit” and is being held at the Music Annex, 69 Green Street (at Front), San Francisco. It runs until April 20th. changed the whole site, hopefully to making it easier to navigate and better looking to boot.

The good people of Elixir Magazine have done a four page spread on my Burning Man photography in their current issue (28). You should be able to find one at Borders. When I find other outlets, I’ll post them.
